At my friend's request, here are pictures of our trees. It's a historical moment for our family.... it's the first time we've ever had an artificial tree in our home....EVER.
I have mixed feelings about it. It's easier, but sad for me because I'm the biggest fan of real. We do have the real "Charlie Brown" tree downstairs for the kids. So I guess we're covered.

I am so glad that we were able to go with you to pick out a real tree. The tradition of a real tree runs very deep in this family. And having hot chocolate served from the tailgate of the truck is a tradition your children will always remember. We always bought or cut a real tree when you were little and hot chocolate was just part of the experience. Family traditions are so important. They remind us of those we love and good times spent with them.
